QGIS plugin to dwonload DEMs from OpenTopography.org

This plug-in allows you to download DEMs from OpenTopgraphy.org by specifying area extent in QGIS. The downloaded DEM wil just cover the defined extent.

Extent can be defined with

1 . a Layer in the content 2 . current canvas extent 3 . user specified extent drawn on the canvas

DEMs availables to donwload:

  1. SRTM 90m
  2. SRTM 30m
  3. ALOS World 3D 30m
  4. SRTM GL1 Ellipsoidal 30m
  5. Global Bathymetry SRTM15+ V2.1
  6. Copernicus Global DSM 30m
  7. Copernicus Global DSM 90m
  8. NASADEM Global DEM

** You will need an API Key to download these DEMs as per requirement of the OpenTopography.org. Read detail insturction to get an API Key here.. https://opentopography.org/blog/introducing-api-keys-access-opentopography-global-datasets

    The algorithm throws an error when used within the graphic modeler when the layer extent is calculated from a dynamic layer, e.g. model input.

    This is due to processing plugin passing just the layer id, not the layer extent.

    Use QgsCoordinateTransform for coordinate transformation instead of QgsExpression

    I see you preferred using QgsExpression to transform coordinates. I assume it was because there was difficulty using QgsCoordinateTransform. Nevertheless, using the native coordinate transform speeds up and simplifies the program.

    Please merge #2 first and then this one.

    Make the algorithm work in the modeler setting the extent dynamically

    When using model input (e.g. vector layer) as source for the extent, the QGIS processing framework sets the string value (the one available in parameters['extent'] to the layer id. However, the code in this plugin assumes it will be a list of coordinates as it shown when using manually. Luckily, the processing framework deals the layer id values correctly when you pass them to parameterAsExtentGeometry and parameterAsExtentCrs.
