GUI for the Gammu library.

It would be groovy if it was possible to not only synchronize SMS-es but to also make or accept phone calls with wammu. This would be especially important for computers with UMTS module where there is no physical phone that a call could be made with; using the Qualcom 3G WCDMA, GTM382 module.

After selecting Phone Device if i click next it crashes, please help

Is there somewhere I can download Windows binaries of Wammu? When I click “Download sources or Windows binaries” on the download page, I can only see the sources.

Hello guys, can someone please suggest which recent phone does wammu supports I just tried with iPhone 5 in Ubuntu 16 and it says your phone doesn't support this function....phone database in Website has very old models which I am unable to find anywhere to buy??? Will be looking forward for you suggestions. Thanks

1. The Motorola Razr V3 must be in Mode=0 when it receives the CREG=n command. Reference: http://read.pudn.com/downloads139/doc/599044/AT_Commands_Ref.pdf
2. The Motorola Razr V3 accepts only a value of n=(0,1), not (0-2).
   Reference: The phone responds: AT+CREG=? +CREG: (0-1) !NOT (0-2)! a) Function GSM_Error ATGEN_GetNetworkInfo() sends "AT+CREG=2" instead of "AT+CREG=1" (at least for a Razr V3, wrong command parameter). AT+CREG=2 causes an ERROR reply from the phone. b) The expected Razr V3 phone response for a AT+CREG=1 command is OK; however, gammu checks and complains about a CREG=1 / OK response.

Running Retrieve->Messages only fetches ~193~ 200 sms messages of the ~2500 I have on my Nokia phone. Is there a setting to increase that number?

Running gammu getallsms -pbk > sms.gammu gets all 2500+ messages.

Hello. I was wondering when are you gonna update it to work with Ubuntu 20.04? And it needs to verify in .py files. I tried installing it, running it but it doesn't work. It gave me an error.

Same symptoms as issue #92 except I only have 7 stored messages. Wammu freezes when it sends AT+CMGL=4

On closing wammu (sudo killall wammu) and connecting with a terminal, AT+CMGL=4 responds with the 7 SMS messages in PDU format, approx 1400 characters (bytes in hex). It doesn't seem an excessive transfer size.

Wammu does not start on Windows XP SP3. On start i get error "See the logfile 'C:\Program Files\Wammu\wammu.exe.log' for details". In wammu.exe.log i see next :

The phone is detected as device:USB at /dev/ttyACM0, connection type:at115200. Wammu identifies phone as 'Ericsson unknown'. 'Retrieve messages' returns error "Can not access SIM card. I have a Nokia X3-2.5. With Wammu I can connect to the Phone, see gammurc.txt The Phone Information is o.k. wammu-sw2.log In the contacts the Text information like the Name is show in Numeric (ASCII). Nokia.vcf.txt

OS: Linux Mint 17.3 32bit(Ubuntu Trusty)

I'm able to get all sms to a file thru cli using gammu. I have about 10000 sms combined, wammu crashes when reading sms from the phone.
