Overview

2b2t Priority queue discord bot announcer

Commands

  • !prioq -> Checks the priority queue length and sends it.
  • !start -> Starts a loop that sends the status of the queue every 10 minutes. If it's equal to last one, it will not send anything, and instead log it in console.

Install guide

Make sure to have at least Python 3.9 installed.

  1. Open .env and add your bot token.
  2. Run the following commands in a terminal in the same directory:
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
$ python ./bot.py

    Please go through the code, I'm not fully done, oldStats is an example of something that's incomplete, status should also be set in the bot class. pic.twitter.com/oUK4DYbUkQ for example. Also, I suggest you rewrite the code using on_command_error for proper usage instead of checking if an argument is a default value, using aiohttp and aiofiles. I need to go now, please go through it and lmk if anything needs to be changed, you have push access to this branch.
